No
Tri-River Athletic Conference
team made the Central Section
Division 1 title game in 2005. This was the first season
since 1990 that no Clovis Unified high school football team reached the
championship game. Clovis East was the class of the
league, going undefeated in conference play and only dropping 1 regular
season game all year. In addition to the
always-competitive Clovis high schools, Madera High was able to make a
big improvement over last year's 3-8 squad, going 9-4 and
reaching the semifinals.
